Sweeney Farm, Shropshire

Sweeney Farm is nestled at the bottom of Sweeney Mountain, adjacent to the A483 mid-Wales trunk road and just 3 miles from the North Shropshire market town of Oswestry. Brian and Helen run the organic dairy farm which supplies organic milk to a local Shropshire cheese maker. All cows on the farm are born and bred at Sweeney Farm.

Sweeney Farm is proud of its environmental credentials as it is a carbon zero, organic dairy farm. Renewable energy sources are used to power the farm in the form of solar panels and a wind turbine. In fact, the safari tents are completely powered by solar energy.

In addition to the cows, the farm also rears a small flock of sheep and kune kune pigs.
